What is SP?
Each character level gives 5 SP. The daily challenge gives another 5 SP, described as once per dungeon each time that dungeon's modifiers change. Each crafting level gives 1 SP. Some quests pay SP directly: Kai pays +1 SP with the Fire Blade. Weapon steps cost 15, then 25, then 60, then 100 SP. Those four steps add up to 200 SP if you climb one line from tier 1 through tier 5. A guild cantrip costs 10 SP at rank 2. Parts obtained from dungeons, bosses, and presents can be transferred at a forge for 15 SP in an older SP note.

How do you use SP?
Bank SP until the blade line matches your boosts. The first ten levels are only 50 SP from levels alone, and tier 3 already asks for 15+25 SP on top of the free tier-1 parts.
