Each level multiplies your damage by 1% and pays 5 SP. Levels 0 through 10 need 891 EXP in total, so the opening is a quest route, not a grind.
What a level is worth
- Damage multiplier: 1% per level.
- SP: 5 per level.
- Gate: main quests, guilds, and dungeons check level. Gladiator wants level 15.
- Extra SP: the daily challenge pays 5 SP, once per dungeon each time that dungeon's modifiers change. Each crafting level pays 1 SP.

Failing InvestiGATOR flips the reputation reward negative. Guilds care which side of reputation you are on, so fail it only if you already want a negative guild such as Gladiator, Thief, or Vampire.
Where the money and SP go
Voxos caps at 100,000. A forge upgrade is 500, then 1,500, 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000 Voxos, so one maxed item is 11,000. Trade fees are at least 25 Voxos plus one third of the sale price. SP steps on a weapon line are 15, 25, 60, and 100. A rank-2 guild cantrip is 10 SP.
When the opening is done
You are out of the opening when you have a level-15 path to a guild, a rune on R, and you have not spent the 60 SP tier on a blade whose scaling misses your boosts. The next pages are the weapon tree, then a boss order that starts at Queen Bumblz.
