A weapon art is the Q move. You choose it when the sword shrine builds the weapon. After you cast it, it goes on cooldown. Its attack speed listens to weapon attack speed, stat attack speed, Quickcast, Power Inhale, and Stone Weapon.
What the shrine is checking
The shrine looks at weapon type, scaling, and stat boosts. A hybrid scaling bonus does not count toward the requirement. If Laser is missing, you need Magic scaling of at least 0.3 on the parts that count. If Barrage, Shatter, or Focus is missing, you are not in Monk, or you are missing that art's scaling line.
Arts players ask about first
| Art | Cooldown | Base damage | You need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lunge | 12s | 3.6 × 10 hits | Any weapon except Monk gloves and shields |
| Laser | 6s | 19.5 | Magic scaling 0.3 |
| Slam | 20s | 30 | Unbalanced sword, greatsword, great spear, mallet, or war hammer, plus 0.5 Physical scaling |
| Javelin | 15s | 40 | Spear or great spear. Applies bleed and slowness |
| Cross Slash | 20s | 5 + 25 | One-handed or two-handed sword, 0.4 Dexterity and 0.4 Physical scaling |
| Magical Ray | 15s | 3 × 15 hits | Magic boost +21% |
| Starstream | 20s | About 360 average base | Both Starlight Handle and Starlight Greatblade |
Javelin is a spear art, which is why a Javelin build video is not a greatsword template. Laser is the art written into the Greatsword Mage build. Slam is the art written into Dual Greatsword. Those notes also say Stomp works; the named art in the move list is Warrior Stomp.
Numbers move
The figures above are the current lines on the weapon-art pages, including revisions labeled ver. 1602. The Roblox experience listing was last stamped 2026-09-25 and the description does not itemize these damage changes. If a shrine tooltip disagrees, trust the tooltip over this table.
Every named art, including the ones outside the older 38-move summary, has its own page under Weapon arts.
